UNITED’S # HT 567 ALLOY is designed for 18 K casting (& fabrication), which produces a bright yellow finished color (European 3N color). # HT 567 alloy does not contain deoxidizers.

You should obtain excellent results by following a few simple instructions.

MELTING We do recommend pre-alloying all alloy and fine gold with aggressive stirring & fluxing to assure a uniform mixture.

Step : 1 Pre- Alloying (Fine gold + alloy) Temperature 1030° - 1050° C

1886° - 1922° F

Step : 2 Casting Temperature for 18 K Alloyed Grain 1010° C / 1850° F

United # HT 567 Alloy is formulated for 18 Karat Bright Yellow Gold sheet, plate and wire fabrication giving a Bright Yellow color (European 3N color). This Alloy can also be used for Investment Casting if desired.

MELTING The # HT 567 Alloy, and fine gold should be pre-alloyed together in a clean crucible. Put alloy in the bottom of the crucible and fine gold on top. Pre-alloying temp should be 1030º C – 1040º C or 1886º F – 1922º F. Drop temperature somewhat before pouring as listed below. Boric acid flux may be used to keep the metal clean during the melting process. The metal should be mixed well with a stirring rod before pouring to assure a good mix.

POURING TEMP 18K - 1010º C - 1020º C

FOR INGOTS 1850º F - 1868º F
